A breast cancer diagnosis gave me the time and space to understand what my purpose in life was and that began the journey of training in psychotherapy and counseling. I found a deep passion when working with clients to unfold and discover what makes them unique and how to develop strategies and techniques to help them thrive in this uncertain world we live in today.
Studying with a holistic approach gave me insight into the human process using curiosity and how to understand the emotional, physical and spiritual relationship we have with ourselves and the world around us. -
I work within a group setting throughout the year called Quest for Life with an integrative approach that includes relaxation and mindfulness strategies that are backed up by up to date science based evidence. Although I have experience working with many specialties, my focus is working with individuals that are challenged by mood disorders, anger, addictions, communication, couples issues, trauma , anxiety and depression.

I am interested in how we can change the brain with thoughts, behaviours and actions that reintegrate what changes we choose to focus on. Amazing Neuroscience called Epigenetics!!

I think most individuals will begin to feel a shift the first time they have a session. I believe that when you sit and focus on feelings and notice how the body feels with awareness, old patterns will spontaneously shift.

I like to be a therapist who is non judgmental, caring and uses her intuition to support her clients to choose wisely for themselves. I love providing reflections, feedback with tools and strategies to support their changes in the world. I love being a part of the process that supports the client to uncover what is important to them and watch how they find their moments of awareness and ah ha's.
