I work alongside you and/or your child, partner or family, supporting you to draw on your own knowledge and experience to make positive changes in your life. I work collaboratively and respectfully, bringing my experience, energy and creative approaches to help you develop new understanding and practical strategies. In the therapeutic relationship you can explore new possibilities, and find solutions to take back into your life, to change things for the better.

Over the past 14 years I have worked in government and non-government organisations and private practice specialising in:
- child and family therapy
- group work
- provision of training and supervision to other professionals, and
- professional report writing

Individual counselling, Child and family therapy.
Clinical social work and generalist clinical supervision.
Phone counselling/supervision is also available.

Therapy Approach
NARRATIVE THERAPY: Works with the negative stories we tell ourselves to find alternative stories of hope and resilience
RELATIONAL EXTERNALISING THERAPY: helps you experience your "self" as multidimensional and resilient, capable of new ideas and actions
MINDFULNESS THERAPY: based on Buddhist philosophy this therapeutic approach has been proven to assist people to learn to manage painful emotions.
SENSORIMOTOR PSYCHOTHERAPY :based on the work of Pat Ogden and Janina Fisher this body-centered therapeutic approah has developed from recent reasearch in neuroscience.
EXPRESSIVE THERAPIES: Clinically shown to improve children's attention-span, behaviour and sense of self worth. Techniques include: Art Therapy and symbol work.

Hours may vary to suit client need.
Phone sessions or skype are available. Times for phone sessions and supervision as negotiated.
Fees & Insurance
$100 per hour
I am an accredited Mental Healthcare provider. Rebates available when referred by a GP under the Better Access to Mental Health scheme.
I am also a Victim of Crime therapist providing free counselling to eligible people.
