I offer a professional and caring counselling and psychological therapy service to assist with support & strategies for a balanced life. Wouldn't it be great to: feel more confident; minimise unnecessary stress; live richly and pursue the goals that are important to you? We all get stuck at times and modern life presents complex challenges. As a counsellor I listen carefully to what is not working and help you to develop the resources to live the fulfilling life you deserve.
Background
I have been employed as a psychologist for more than 20 years.I have worked in private practice in the Brisbane CBD over the past 10 years. I have background in personal and careers counselling in University settings. I have also worked in corrections and with adults with disabilities.
Services
I provide a generalist counselling and psychological therapy service with an emphasis on wellness & emotional health. Specialisations include anxiety and panic disorder, depression and mood issues, eating and body image and self-esteem issues. I have an interest in mind training for sport general and performance enhancement. I also provide career planning and development & vocational assessments.
Quality Provision
I work in collaboration with other psychologists and engage in on-going professional development and supervision to enhance my practice.

Providing a safe and nurturing environment for you to express your concerns is the foundation. Following an overview of your needs and goals I tailor a range of strategies that best fits your concerns. I use a strengths based approach and incorporate evidence based practices including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT); mindfulness techniques; brief solution-focused therapy or other methods that would be suitable for your presenting issues.
