Philosophy & Vision
I have worked for over 15 years in the field of trauma, crisis counselling and supporting victims of violent crimes. Although presenting issues may be similar, I believe that due to every person's uniqueness, the person-centred approach allows for better understanding of the individual's needs and for developing collaborative therapeutic relationship.
Background
I have more than 15 years of counselling experience within the trauma field. My special interest is providing supportive psychotherapy to individuals impacted by family violence, developmental trauma and sexual assault.
Services
I am interested in working with individuals who have experienced stress, anxiety, sadness, life transitions and difficulties in everyday life challenges. Counselling and supportive psychotherapy may assist in providing better understanding of one's own behaviour, emotions, mental health, physical symptoms and relationship patterns.
Quality Provision
Trauma counselling is my specialist field of interest, especially as it is known that trauma not only occurs within relationships, it also has capacity to heal through corrective relational experience.
I have recently obtained a Certificate in Healing Relational Trauma.
In 2023, I graduated with Master in Child Psychotherapy focusing on the psychodynamic principles in the development of the human mind.
