Philosophy & Vision
How people can grow through major life change or adverse events informs my practice. Starting where people are at, experience and choices are gently explored in a confidential setting. I work with individuals, couples and families across the lifespan in Melbourne's outer east.
Background
My early career involved work with youth and children and separating families. I qualified in mediation, grief and loss education and counselling, working as a counsellor-mediator-educator in human services and in private practice for over 15 years. I also consulted with schools and workplaces developing dispute resolution programs and supervised practitioners in the helping professions. My personal and relationship counselling with parents, families and individuals, is grounded in advanced clinical training and a background of experience in the helping profession.
Services
I provide individual, relationship and family counselling in a private, confidential setting. Sessions are on-line or face to face as arranged with everyone involved.
Whether personal, relationship or work issues you will find a sensitive counsellor experienced with separation, loss and relationship transitions in a range of contexts across the lifespan.
I draw from my clinical training in a range of therapies and approaches that are attuned to the needs of each individual, relationship, family and child.
Quality Provision
I practice within the code of conduct set out by the Australian Association of Family Therapists.
