I've always been an empathic person and deeply interested in how people cope with difficult life experiences, and how friendships, partners and family influence our growth and identity.

The most significant problem we face in 2020 is responding to the covid-19 outbreak. We need to foster compassion and respect for those who are isolated, frightened and who do not have access to the level of medical or psychological support they may need.
The covid-19 outbreak may lead people to question their personal values and those of our wider society. When we are faced with the possibility of loss of life and profound changes to our way of life, what is really important is clarified. Connecting with people we care for, showing our own vulnerability and finding a way to sit with the difficult emotions that are emerging can help.
We face an equal threat to our existence from the breakdown of our climate and ecosystem.
