Philosophy & Vision
As a highly experienced mental health clinician, I provide a safe space for individuals and couples to explore their experiences, perspectives, thoughts and feeling free from judgement. I am able to utilise methods and strategies from a range of evidence based treatment models, all which are rooted in the latest research, however my primary objective within the counselling space is to help lay the foundations for positive self regard and make room for my clients to develop a sense of purpose and direction.
Background
I am a warm and compassionate counsellor with extensive experience working with adults, couples and adolescents. I have delivered these services in a range of settings and contexts since graduating in 2015.
I hold a Bachelor of Social Science with a specialisation in Counselling, and have additionally completed a Graduate Diploma of Psychology at Monash University. I have previously gained accreditation in Crisis and Suicide Intervention and am a certified member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

At Step Forward Counselling I offer offer counselling services for adolescents, adults, couples and NDIS clients.
I am well versed in many counselling techniques and equipped and qualified to assist with the challenges faced when living with a mental health condition or challenge. I offer professional and inclusive support infused with an authentic, heartfelt and holistic approach that is deeply centred on the individual.
Quality Provision
My primary objective within the counselling space is to create a judgement free zone in which my clients feel safe enough to deeply explore themselves, whereby alleviating their distress, and making room for them to build a stable, sturdy and grounded sense of self.
