My work is informed by my training in The Conversational Model - a Psychodynamic approach to Psychotherapy, as well as Person Centered approaches, and Systemic Couples and Family Therapy. I also have an understanding of Trauma Theory, and the way that traumatic experiences can effect people's ongoing experiences and functioning in life.

I have worked as a social worker since the late 1990s in a range of areas and specialties including child protection, child and family work, drug and alcohol, mental health, and disabilities. As a counsellor, I am very passionate about helping my clients to make positive changes in their life.
