Philosophy & Vision
Therapy makes a meaningful difference when built on a warm, trusting relationship. I believe feeling genuinely cared for, without judgment, fosters true personal growth. Together, we’ll move at a pace that suits you, ensuring you feel seen, heard, and empowered. I take an integrative approach, tailoring therapy to your unique needs. My passion is creating a safe, welcoming space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insight into what’s holding you back, and foster self-compassion. This collaborative environment nurtures clarity and a deeper connection with yourself and others. Therapy can be daunting, but it’s a courageous step. I provide a supportive space where we explore patterns in your thoughts and behaviours, helping you understand their impact. With these insights, you can make informed decisions and build inner strength to live a full and meaningful life. I work with adults and older teens (16+).
Background
I’ve always worked with people. Before private practice in 2021, I was a Lifeline counsellor for several years. Prior to counselling, I held senior management roles in recruitment in the UK and Australia, including workplace and career counselling. Living in Singapore while raising my children, studying social psychology in the USA, and working internationally deepened my understanding of people. I’ve practised yoga for over 20 years, becoming a registered teacher in 2019, drawn to its mental and physical benefits. My diverse experiences have given me valuable insight into supporting people in ways that help them thrive.
Services
I approach each session collaboratively; with genuine empathy, friendliness and curiousity; providing a non judgmental space for you to feel you can freely explore, and give voice to the issues that you are struggling with. I work with you so that you can get curious about your inner world, gaining a deeper understanding of yourself whilst feeling heard and supported. I also provide ‘active’ therapy to provide you with tools and strategies that you can take from session and support yourself in the real world. My aim is to help you meaningfully ease stressors in your life; blending evidence based therapies in order to support your unique needs.
