My name is Sasha Brittain, and I am a master's degree qualified ACA registered counsellor and couples therapist. I provide holistic, trauma-informed and evidence-based therapy for individuals and couples. I provide a non-judgemental, culturally sensitive, neuroaffirming and inclusive space for adults to work through life's challenges. I tailor appointments to the needs of each client, taking into consideration all dimensions of wellness, integrating a variety of evidence-based therapies designed to improve mental health, emotional wellbeing and relationships.

Therapy Approach
I provide holistic, trauma-informed and evidence-based therapy for individuals and couples. I provide a non-judgemental, culturally sensitive, neuroaffirming and inclusive space for clients to work through life's challenges. I have experience supporting clients with many issues such as trauma, relationship issues, existential issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions and grief. I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches such as ACT, CBT, Narrative Therapy and somatic practices. The main approach I use with couples is the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy. It is evidence-based and suitable for couples of all cultures and sexual orientations. I have level 1 and 2 clinical training in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy.

Appointments
In-person and online appointments are available from Tuesday to Saturday. Please note that all couples therapy appointments are in-person.
Fees & Insurance
Individual appointments are 60 minutes. Couples therapy appointments are 90 minutes. These longer sessions allow more time for each partner to express themselves, and make more rapid progress. Individual Therapy is from $130; Couples Therapy is $260.

Payment Options
Pre-payment by direct transfer is required to secure your appointment. Please note that there is no Medicare rebate for couples therapy services in Australia, even when seeing a psychologist.
