Philosophy & Vision
Central to my work is a belief that each person has their own resources that serve as foundations for recovery.
I have a particular interest in body awareness throughout the therapeutic process. I work to facilitate a collaborative journey towards a healthy and full life.
Background
For over twenty years I have provided counselling in various community agencies.
I have had extensive experience working with victim survivors of sexual assault and their families.
In my private practice I also specialise in working with women experiencing problems with eating and in particular bulimia and anorexia.

I work with adults, couples, families and children (4 years and above.)
Quality Provision
I am a registered psychologist and social worker. I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). I have completed a Graduate Certificate in Dance Therapy. I am an Associate Member of the Australian Dance Therapy Association (AMADTA). I have also completed extensive training in somatic trauma therapy.
I am a registered counsellor with the Victims Support Agency, the Victorian WorkCover Authority and Medicare.

Therapy Approach
I incorporate a diverse range of therapeutic approaches. In particular, I draw from Somatic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, Mindfulness meditation and Solution focused Therapy.
