Therapy Approach
I offer an integrative psychotherapy approach to evidence-based practices helping clients reshape their nervous systems to support emotional regulation and connection to self and others.
The foundation of my therapy approach is highly relational and holistically based. I utilise many integrative approaches to help address the impacts of stress and trauma on the brain, nervous system and on interpersonal relationships. I view mental health experiences of chronic stress, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, ADHD, depression, dissociation, PTSD and Complex PTSD through this holistic, relational and neurobiological lens.

I began my career as a Naturopath and noticed that many people's health concerns had root causes in emotional and relational pain. This led me down the path of studying counselling and then specialiasing in trauma, relational wounds and nervous system support.
-
My therapy approach has been deeply influenced by interpersonal neurobiology and also polyvagal theory which is the science of safety. Attachment theory also informs all of my relational therapy practices. As a Trauma Therapist, the science of safety and connection underpins all my work.
