Philosophy & Vision
Natalia is a neurodiversity-affirming psychologist. She enjoys working with all neurotypes and has a special interest in supporting adults who identify as neurodivergent, in particular individuals who are autistic and/or who are experiencing ADHD symptoms.
She works with a wide range of difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, emotion regulation difficulties, trauma, relationship issues, chronic health concerns, persistent pain, LGBTQIA+ related difficulties, grief and loss, burnout, workplace issues.
Background
Natalia is a Clinical Psychologist who obtained her Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland. She has experience working in public health outpatient settings and in private practice.
Prior to becoming a therapist, Natalia obtained a Masters in Cognitive Neuroscience and a PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Strasbourg. Her knowledge of cognitive neuroscience informs her clinical practice, giving her a unique perspective for creating treatment plans that are tailored to the client's neurotype.
Services
Natalia provides individual psychotherapy to adults via telehealth. She conducts therapy in English, French and Romanian.
Please note that Natalia's primary interests is in psychotherapy, therefore she does not provide diagnostic assessment for autism and ADHD.

She sees being a therapist as a lifelong learning process and strives to continuously improve her knowledge and skills as a therapist. Therapy Approach
Natalia is passionate about creating together with the client personalised therapeutic roadmaps that are tailored to the person’s unique needs and goals.
Her therapy approach is trauma informed and rooted in attachment science. She works primarily within a Schema Therapy framework. She also draws from Emotion Focused Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy to help clients further understand themselves and connect with their experience moment by moment. For trauma processing she integrate EMDR therapy into the treatment.
For more practical strategies, to foster emotion regulation and create positive habits, she typically incorporates into the treatment interventions from ACT and DBT.

Fees & Insurance
The fee is $260 for a 50 min appointment. With a Mental Health Care Plan you will get a $141.85 Medicare rebate (for up to 10 sessions per calendar year), leaving a $118.15 out of pocket fee per session.
