Philosophy & Vision
I provide a compassionate, creative and collaborative environment for adults from diverse backgrounds and life stages to explore healing, growth, self-development and transformation.
Together, we navigate challenges like depression, self-esteem, life transitions, grief, dreams, and spiritual concerns, fostering insight and empowerment on a path toward greater well-being.
I take an integrated and holistic approach, blending Talk Therapy, Arts Therapy, and Dreamwork with creative and experiential methods, viewed through a psycho-spiritual lens. By drawing from the strengths of multiple therapeutic modalities, I create a dynamic yet safe space for clients to explore and reconnect with themselves.
Background
From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by life and death, the meaning we make between them, and how our experiences are expressed through the arts and through dreaming.
I’ve worked with youth in Montessori arts, people with disabilities, those facing life-threatening illnesses, and more recently, with the disadvantaged, disengaged, and elderly in our community.
After a convoluted and often confusing path, I found my purpose as a psychotherapist in my mid-thirties.
Inspired by my clients, I strive to support others in ways I have been helped and ways that I haven’t. I see life as both cruel and kind, but I've learned that what helps us weather the storms is our connection to others and the meaning we create from it all.

My path to psychotherapy was shaped by a lifelong fascination with the complexities of the human experience—life, death, and the spaces in between.
From early on, I sought to understand how people make meaning from their stories and express their inner worlds through art, dreams, and other creative outlets.
This curiosity led me to diverse roles—supporting young people in Montessori arts education, working with individuals facing disabilities or life-threatening illnesses, and helping the disadvantaged and elderly navigate their journeys.
It wasn't until my mid-thirties that I fully realised my calling as a psychotherapist. My own experiences—marked by both struggle and growth—taught me the power of connection and the importance of finding meaning in our stories.
The more I engaged in this work, the more I felt compelled to support others in their journeys of self-discovery, healing, and transformation, much like the ways I’ve been guided and sometimes lacked guidance myself.
This work continually inspires and challenges me, and it is here that I find a deep sense of purpose and fulfilment. -
I'm deeply interested in the complex interplay between life, death, and the meaning we create in the space between them. I am particularly drawn to how people navigate their personal stories, especially in times of transformation, grief, and loss.
I explore how these experiences are expressed through art, dreams, and creative processes, as they often reveal deeper layers of the psyche and offer pathways to healing.
I am also fascinated by the resilience and adaptability of the human spirit, especially in marginalised, disadvantaged, or ageing populations. I focus on supporting these individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, recognising that each person’s journey is unique.
My interest lies in helping people connect with their inner resources, build meaningful connections, and find purpose, even amidst life’s most challenging moments. -
Progress in therapy is a highly individual experience and can vary greatly from one person to another. In my practice, I believe that clients may start to feel progress when they begin to notice a shift in their awareness, understanding, or feelings about their circumstances. This could manifest as a deeper sense of self-awareness, a new perspective on a long-standing issue, or a greater capacity to manage difficult emotions.
Often, progress is felt when clients start to experience a sense of connection—both with themselves and with others—enabling them to make meaning from their experiences in new ways. Small but significant changes, like feeling more understood, having a safe space to explore difficult topics, or beginning to access self-compassion and self-acceptance, can signal the start of meaningful progress.
It is about creating an environment where the client feels safe, supported, and empowered to explore their inner world and move towards healing at their own pace.
