Philosophy & Vision
Feeling stuck, lost or alone with your concerns? Talking about your issues with a trained professional can provide a welcome sounding board to better observe and understand yourself and uncover new ways to manage the problematic areas of your life.
My aim is to provide a safe and supportive space, to be curious and encourage you in exploring the difficulties you are experiencing in your life, in order to develop your insight enabling personal growth and behavioural change.
Background
I have developed a wide range of clinical experience as a therapist, since 2011, practising within the National Health Service (NHS), international NGO's, tertiary settings and private practice. I was employed as a full-time therapist in the NHS (2014-2015) seeing GP or self referrals with mild-severe mental health problems. I have been in private practice in Australia since 2016.
Services
I can provide short or medium term psychodynamic counselling focused on a specific issue following an assessment.
I often provide open-ended psychodynamic psychotherapy to explore and work through more deeper seated or enduring problematic patterns of behaviour, issues or concerns that are affecting a persons life and relationships.
Quality Provision
I attend regular and ongoing supervision and undertake regular continuing professional development.
