I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, this is due to my own life experience along with ongoing education in multiple mental health disciplines. With some 30+ years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. and utilising a variety of evidence-based techniques in order to help clients overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.

Life experiences along with years of significant trauma led me to a very dark place. I found ways to cope and to help others out of the darkness to a brighter life. It became a passion to see others move forward from stuck positions.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy, the role of thoughts and beliefs in shaping emotions and behaviours. CBT techniques have helped to identify and modify negative thought patterns that contribute to distress.
Humanistic therapy due to the inherent worth and dignity of self, and the importance of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity in self.
Psychodynamic therapy because this approach emphasises the role of unconscious processes in shaping behaviour, and the importance of exploring past experiences and relationships to gain insight into current patterns. -
I've found over the years that the many problems we face are simply life issues, something most, if not all of us experience at various stages of our journey. Many of these issues are able to be resolved with guided assistance utilising various proven methods.

Often from the first session, significant change can occur.

Therapy allowed me to find light in the darkest of places and learn to move forward from stuck positions. I became able to look at alternative thought processes instead of a belief system that prevented me from moving on and living life to the fullest.

Seeing the transformation in others' lives, watching in many cases tears and distress move to laughter and gratitude for the lives they didn't realise they were living.
