Philosophy & Vision
I provide depth psychotherapy for the development of a solid, healthy, functioning Self. I work with childhood issues and relational trauma, and the many conditions that arise from early developmental disruptions. I have a particular interest in working with disorders of self.
I am qualified in the Masterson Approach to Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, a highly effective treatment which supports working at a deep transformative level with character structure and disorders of self.
I conduct a 6 month supervisor training course in Perth, WA, and provide clinical supervision to local, interstate and international therapists.
Background
I have worked as a psychotherapist for over 45 years, initially working in Mental Health OT prior to commencing my longterm private practice. My work roles have expanded as I undertook additional qualifications. I enjoy the balance of clinical work, supervising and training.
Services
Therapy is usually mid to long term, depending on the needs of the individual, and is conducted on a weekly basis.
Quality Provision
In addition to clinical work, Maggie is an experienced trainer and supervisor, and has held part-time roles in university and private training sectors teaching counsellors, psychotherapists and supervisors.
