Liam believes that every client deserves treatment of a high quality, including a strong therapeutic relationship in which the client is shown genuine empathy and care. Liam aims to provide evidence-based treatment (treatments that have been shown to be effective from research).
Background
Liam is a Clinical Psychology Registrar with general registration as a psychologist. He has completed degrees in psychology at the University of Sydney (Bachelor of Science) and Macquarie University (Master of Clinical Psychology). He has experience working in private practice, hospital and university clinics. Liam has experience treating a variety of different presentations including depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, grief, trauma, workplace difficulties, adjustment to injury, and functional/somatic symptoms.

Therapy Approach
Liam engages in evidence-based practice (using treatments with known effectiveness from research). His main therapeutic orientation is cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), though his approach is individually tailored to each client and he may use different therapeutic modalities depending on the client's presentation.
He has a passion for providing collaborative and caring treatment to his clients. He believes that forming a strong therapeutic relationship with genuine empathy towards his clients is essential.

Appointments
Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm
Friday 9am to 12.30pm. After school appointments are in high demand and cannot be guaranteed.
Fees & Insurance
While there is a standard fee of $208 per session, fees are variable, with rebates through Medicare and private health insurers, with whom our practice is registered.
