Philosophy & Vision
I am passionate about delivering quality, safe and compassionate care to children, adolescents and families. Our understanding of the world begins from our earliest experiences in life. I am focussed on helping people of all ages work through their current difficulties to experience new ways of being that lead to a fulfilling life. My personal vision is for a world where no child or adult is left to wonder Am I loved? Am I good enough?, a world of self-compassion and outward care.
Background
I have a wide variety of experience over 8 years of work with children, adolescents and adults. I have worked in government, non-government, not-for-profit and private health provision delivering individual, small group and large group interventions. This extensive experience has given me insight into the needs of individuals and families from a wide variety of backgrounds, and I enjoy working with people to achieve their individual goals.
Services
I provide sessions to children, adolescents, adults and parents (or carers). Sessions may involve a combination of child/parent/carer work as well as one-on-one work. Services are tailored to fit the needs of the individual and may change as needs or goals change. As therapy is a process, service duration may need to be extended based on need.
Quality Provision
As a fully registered Psychologist I adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines and operate in a safe and ethical manner at all times. I am bound by the provisions of the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and have completed advanced training in my Master of Child Play Therapy.

Therapy Approach
I work broadly from an attachment-based heart-centred methodology, meaning that I meaningfully and deeply connect to my clients in order to walk beside them on their journey. I offer strategies and knowledge when the time is right, but prefer for those I work with to let me join with their own inner wisdom to help them acknowledge the best way forward for them. As a professional, I have many years of training and education, but you as the client are the expert on your own life. It is my pleasure and privilege to assist you as a helper, but not take over your power or push my ideas onto you.
