Philosophy & Vision
I have worked with children, adults, parents, and foster carers for over ten years. Sessions are guided by your needs and what feels most safe for you to explore at any given time. I am there to act as a guide to support you on your healing journey.
As a mother of two, I understand the challenges and fulfilment we experience as parents. I am deeply passionate about supporting parents, foster, and kinship carers to navigate the complexities of fostering, parenthood as well as preparing for birth and beyond.
I am deeply passionate about relationships, as it is through our relationships that we experience healing, pain, and everything in between. I use a neurodevelopmental approach, reflecting on brain functioning & the mind body connection.
Background
I have worked in various therapeutic roles in the out-of-home care and family preservation space for over ten years. My passion is supporting children, young people, adults, parents, and foster carers to heal from trauma and grief, and move towards strengthening relational safety. At the heart of what I do is delving into the mind-body connection and how this influences our view of ourselves and how we show up in our relationships, and the world. I support parents and foster carers to navigate complex behaviors and emotions with their children, as well as dyadic work with the child. I offer therapy for children and young people, utilising body based, sensory, and play based experiences as well as individual therapy for adults.
Services
I offer sessions face to face and via telehealth. I also have capacity to attend sessions in the comfort of your home (if appropriate), and via walk and talk locally. I run training specific to out-of-home-care space as well as parenting workshops and can tailor workshops and training to organizational needs.

Therapy Approach
As therapy is not a one size fits all, I often utilise a variety of techniques from various modalities to match my client's needs. However, I always use an attachment, family systems and neurodevelopmental lens, with a focus on the mind-body connection. During therapy with children and young people, the use of play, body and sensory based experiences are at the forefront. I am emotionally and relationally focused on my work with clients.

I think progress will only truly begin when trust has been established. Without trust in relationship, there is no safety and without safety, deep healing cannot be achieved.
