I believe in the power of the therapy relationship to enable individuals and couples to grow, heal and thrive. I offer a supportive environment in which you can gain a better understanding of your concerns and how they are influencing your life as well as developing a greater sense of wellbeing.

My aim is to assist you in exploring issues that are troubling you and to help you to gain greater insight into these in order to develop resources and strategies to resolve, accept or overcome them.

Background

I have been a therapist and supervisor for over 25 years.

I am the co-author of the book The Talking Cure (Pan Macmillan 2019) and I write regular articles on psychotherapy for The Guardian.

I also run annual seminars on integrative psychotherapy for post graduate students in clinical psychology and psychiatry programs.

Quality Provision

Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association. A six year professional qualification plus continued professional development is mandatory for this membership. I also have a PhD in Psychology.
Full member of the NSW Institute for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
