Philosophy & Vision
Hello, I'm Eloise. I am a psychologist and psychodynamic psychotherapist working with older adolescents (16+) and adults in Brisbane, Queensland. I intend to provide a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy through rich curiosity, exploration and a slowing down so that you may feel more aware of yourself. Psychodynamic therapy holds the therapeutic relationship in the highest regard, and it is through the nurturing of this relationship that you come to know your true self.
Services
I work with adolescents (16 years and over) and adults who may be experiencing problems such as: stress and burnout, grief and loss, low self-worth and struggles with identity, people-pleasing and perfectionism, anxiety and fear, mood disorders, adjustment and life transitions, feeling lost and stuck and feelings of loneliness or isolation. I provide therapy that is gentle, compassionate, explorative and challenging to support you in building a stronger understanding of yourself.
Quality Provision
I am a fully registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a full Member of the Australian Psychological Society. I am also a Board Approved Supervisor with experience supervising provisional psychologists. I continue seeking supervision and professional development training for my continued growth.

Therapy Approach
My therapeutic practice draws primarily from a psychodynamic framework. In this approach, therapist and client explore thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships (past and present), in a search for the meaning behind current or ongoing concerns. Symptoms are often alleviated through therapy as individuals gain a deeper emotional understanding of, and connection to, themselves.
