Philosophy & Vision
I am a practising Psychotherapist working on Sydney's North Shore and Northern Beaches. I work with individuals, couples and families to help give them clarity about the issues they are facing, and to show them a path which will lead them to a happier more harmonious way of living. Together, you and I will develop a simple, viable and sustainable solution for your problems, one that treats the cause not the symptom, and which leads to more harmony and happiness in your life.
Background
Liz is an Individual, Family and Couples Therapist with a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons), a Bachelor of Education and a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
She brings more than 25 years' experience working with children, teenagers, adults, families and couples to the therapy room.
She has helped many adolescents through problems including suicide ideation, poor self-esteem, eating disorders, relationship and family problems, anxiety and depression. In addition, Liz has helped individuals and couples who are experiencing difficulties in their relationships and need assistance in regaining the trust with their partner.
As a psychotherapist, mother, wife and former teacher, Liz has great empathy for the challenges facing people today.
Services
I work with individuals, couples and families. I also work with adolescents and young adults having transitional, relationship and family problems. Therapy sessions can be face to face or via Zoom.
If you are having problems with your toddler or adolescent don't wait too long before seeking help. The quicker you seek help the sooner your life and family will find its balance again.

Therapy Approach
I work systemically. Where do you come from? What makes you who you are? Where do those unhelpful behaviours and patterns come from? Then I will help you to develop and learn new ways to do things differently. The work is collaborative and when dealing with couples both will be given equal time to be heard in a safe, non-blaming and supportive environment.
