Deborah is a trauma informed counsellor and psychotherapist with seven years practice post qualification. She is a domestic violence specialist, mental health practitioner and registered NDIS provider. Prior to opening her private practice five years ago, Deborah was the CEO and counsellor at Lou's Place, a daytime refuge for women in Kings Cross.
Background
Deborah Banks BAppSocSci(Couns), M.A.C.A. (Level 4) is an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with seven years experience post qualification. After five years of private practice on the Southern Tablelands, Deborah relocated to the Northern Rivers in April 2021.
Prior to opening her first private practice, Deborah was the CEO and counsellor at Lou's Place, a daytime refuge for women in Kings Cross. Deborah was a council member of the Corrective Services NSW Women's Advisory Council and has held positions on the boards of Domestic Violence NSW and the Mental Health Coordinating Council.

Private client fees: $180 for couples and $150 for individuals (inc GST)
