Philosophy & Vision
I prioritise cultivating a space of comfort and support without judgement that encourages self-exploration and deep understanding of oneself.
I am a Clinical Psychologist who believes the client is the expert on their life and that therapy requires true connection and collaboration. I can help you to understand the impact of your experiences on your life, to understand yourself more deeply and work towards building the life you want to lead. I consider the role of trauma in the development of stress, anxiety, and general difficulties in life and my treatment approach is eclectic - I have a special interest in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and utilise a range of different evidence-based, trauma-informed therapeutic approaches.
Background
I am passionate about engaging with others to help share, learn, and connect. I have always been empathic, curious, compassionate, and naturally caring, and it is a privilege for me to have been able to create a varied work life that allows me to share these parts of myself with others.
I work as a clinical psychologist in private practice with adults. I am also very passionate about contributing to the field of clinical psychology and so alongside assessment and therapy provision, I also provide clinical supervision to psychologists and mental health teams, and I am a Sessional Lecturer and Academic, teaching in clinical psychology and continually contributing to research in the field to further our understanding of the human experience.
Services
Quality Provision
I prioritise a person-centred, trauma-informed approach to ethical and professional service provision that tailors approaches that are supported by scientific evidence to your preferences and needs.
