Philosophy & Vision
My vision is to provide a safe, relaxed environment in which to build a therapeutic relationship to enable individuals to develop a deeper understanding of themselves. Thereby assisting clients to explore and resolve issues or make changes in their lives.
Background
I have been working with clients and conducting training courses since 1981. I originally began counselling as a volunteer, then returned to studies and became a fully registered psychologist. I also have three years training in Expressive Therapies and many years of experience working with people with disabilities and families with high and complex needs.
Services
Counselling and psychotherapy with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups.
Professional supervision using expressive therapy. I embrace my Aboriginal heritage and resolution to Indigenous issues.
Quality Provision
Clinical membership requires ongoing professional development and clinical supervision. I also have a strong commitment to ongoing personal development and training.

My experience of trying to find support for my children during a very traumatic time in our lives compelled me to return to study to become a psychologist with a passion for supporting children to recover from trauma

Psychoanalytical approach has strongly influenced my personal development while Jungian and experiential approach have strongly influenced my professional development. In recent years systemic family constellation approach has cohesively strengthened all of my education and experience.
