- Carl Rogers

Philosophy & Vision
My main focus is to develop a strong therapeutic alliance with clients, using my genuinely warm, friendly and easy-going personality. I work with Adults and work with most presenting concerns', however I am passionate about working with clients with Adult ADHD, as well as trauma and PTSD.
I am skilled in Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), DBT, ACT and CBT, and use an eclectic approach to therapy, depending on the needs of my client.
I conduct sessions via online consultations (zoom platform) and if you are unfamiliar with online therapy, most of my clients find after the initial session that online therapy has more pros than cons!
My other special interest areas include anxiety, workplace stress and burnout, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, assertiveness, psychotic symptoms and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) support.
Background
For the past 5 years I worked as a Director of a Psychology Clinic and managed a team of Psychologists, providing direct supervision and performance management. Since becoming a mother I decided to close my practice and work independently again, which allows me to spend more time connecting with friends and family.
Prior to private practice, I spent years in the WorkCover and insurance industry, and in drug and alcohol rehabilitation, supporting members of the community with complex physical and psychological injuries.
Services
I provide individual therapy of a 50 minute duration. The initial appointment will focus on exploring your reasons for therapy and getting as much detail as possible around your presenting concerns. A thorough history will also be explored to understand you as a person and to help guide your treatment plan. At the end of the first session you will have a good understanding of the direction of treatment and I will collaborate with you to create goals that you wish to work on to improve your wellbeing.
I conduct Adult ADHD assessments which include a 2 hour interview, the completion of several questionnaires and obtainment of collateral information.
Quality Provision
I use modern, evidence based approaches and sessions will focus on achieving your goals. I will regularly check in with you to ensure that you’re satisfied with the direction of therapy.

Therapy Approach
I use an eclectic approach towards treatment and prefer to target the 'deeper roots' of core issues. I find that modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) and Schema Therapy are most helpful for clients who intellectually understand their vulnerabilities but don't 'feel it'. I also incorporate DBT, CBT and attachment theory into my practice.
I will be with you every step on your journey towards positive wellbeing!
