Philosophy & Vision
I am the co-founder of Healing Studio. I believe in a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy. I work with individuals dealing with a range of issues including general mental health, body concerns, sexual trauma, shame, fear, anxiety, and relationship issues. My perspective on therapy is holistic and trauma-informed, integrating techniques such as Somatic and Embodied Counselling, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness strategies. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions and experiences. My clients often seek to overcome trauma, improve their mental health, and build stronger, healthier relationships. Together, we work towards empowerment and personal growth.
Background
Before co-founding Healing Studio, I worked extensively in mental health and family therapy. My journey began with a strong foundation in Social Work, followed by gaining experience in Art Therapy and trauma-informed care. I’ve had the opportunity to support individuals facing a variety of challenges, from anxiety and depression to complex trauma and relationship issues. My work involved collaboration with diverse communities, providing culturally sensitive and holistic care.
Since starting private practice at Healing Studio, I’ve continued to build on this experience, integrating Somatic and Embodied Counselling, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness strategies into my practice. My approach remains client-centered, aiming to create a safe, non-judgmental space for healing and growth. I am committed to supporting clients through their unique journeys, helping them achieve greater well-being and personal empowerment.

My journey to becoming a psychotherapist was driven by a deep passion for understanding human behavior and a desire to help others navigate their mental health challenges. My early experiences in Social Work and Art Therapy revealed the profound impact of compassionate, client-centered care. Witnessing the transformative power of therapy in people's lives inspired me to specialize further, incorporating trauma-informed approaches and holistic methods. Co-founding Healing Studio allowed me to create a space where I can provide empathetic, personalized support, helping clients overcome their struggles and achieve personal growth. This profession aligns with my commitment to fostering healing and well-being. -
What I love most about being a therapist is the privilege of witnessing my clients' journeys towards healing and personal growth. It's incredibly fulfilling to create a safe, supportive space where individuals feel understood and empowered to explore their emotions and experiences. I cherish the moments when clients achieve breakthroughs, gain new insights, and develop resilience. Helping people transform their lives, improve their relationships, and find greater meaning and joy in their daily experiences is profoundly rewarding. Each therapeutic relationship is unique, and the trust and connection built through this work inspire me every day.
