Philosophy & Vision
I am a a compassionate and gentle Clinical Counsellor Psychotherapist I have clinical membership with the (Psychotherapy and Counselling Association of Australia) PACFA.
My expertise and interest lies in working with neurodiverse children, teenagers, and their families. However I also have expertise in working with individuals who have anxiety and social anxiety.
I support my clients and their families with diagnoses such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
My approach is strength-based, drawing from Attachment Theory and models such as the Circle of Security, to address social, emotional, and behavioural issues. In sessions, clients may work on emotional regulation strategies, enhancing executive functioning, developing social skills, improving impulse control and increasing self-esteem.
Background
Anna's extensive experience includes working in private practice as well as roles in both non-government and government organizations including headspace. Anna currently works for Child Development Solutions Australia where she specialises in working with children and young people with autism and adhd. Anna has collaborated with international organisations such as Rise above the Disorder in America.

You can book a session online or in person. Anna has rooms available in Hornsby at Child Development Solutions Australia, in Mosman and Gladesville. Anna is a clinical member with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. She is continually participating in proffesional development and is up to date with current research within Psychology and Psychotherapy. She is supervised in her practice.

Therapy Approach
Annas approach to therapy is integrative she provides a non-judgemental space where clients can "come as they are". Clients may work on emotional regulation strategies, enhancing executive functioning, developing social skills, improving impulse control, boosting self-esteem, and practicing mindfulness.
Anna is committed to staying at the forefront of current research and continuously developing her professional skills. Her integrative approach ensures that therapy is tailored to the child, adolescents and families unique needs. In a session with Anna you may use Art Psychotherapy interventions to address emotional challenges as sometimes words are not enough

I currently have availability please call to discuss times, I offer home visits to make therapy more accesible.
Fees & Insurance
I offer a 15 minute free initial consultation, and sessions with me are $160 for the hour. I am willing to offer lower fees for students or low income families. You can claim sessions with me if you are on the NDIS scheme.
Payment Options
I will send you an invoice, I ask for a bank transfer into my nominated account. If you are an NDIS client I will invoice your provider everything is taken care for you behind the scenes.
