Philosophy & Vision
Anita is an Internal Family Therapy (IFS) Level 1 practitioner. She is deeply committed to help guide her clients to heal attachment wounds, complex trauma and the hurting inner dialogues that are the results of these. She believes that re-connecting from the inside out, body and mind, is the most helpful way to integrate relational trauma.
I'm grateful for IFS as a system providing us a new paradigm to approach our humanity. I believe that the human mind is inherently multiple. I see most traits and 'disorders' as our internal personalities' (parts) best efforts to keep us safe and pain free, even if for moments.
Background
Anita has a varied life experience spanning over countries and professions. Her first degree in teaching followed by senior marketing roles with multinational companies in Europe, a few years in nutrition and cookery writing led her to realise that her real passion is to support others in a time of need.
Her studies in Counselling combined with her life experience enable her to wholeheartedly show up in her therapeutic relationships. She uses the wisdom gained from the Internal Family Systems model, a new paradigm to heal trauma based on the natural and formidable multiplicity of our human mind.
