Philosophy & Vision
Eastside Clinic attracts several clients for assistance with anxiety, depression, grief & loss, and stress management. Angela has a special interest of practice supporting those with individual counselling provided to neurotypical (NT) partners of, as well as, those individuals who are on the autism spectrum (ASD1 diagnosed or suspected) as well as relationship counselling for these clients together as a neuro-diverse couple.
She has voluntary experience as a Lifeline Crisis Supporter as well as a Youth Mentor with YMCA supporting adolescents from 11 years old. She also works clinically with young adults through to late 20's, and is an experienced provider of Brief Intervention crisis support within the broader community, for all ages.
Background
Angela commenced in healthcare practice in 2007, and established Eastside Clinic as a provider of Acupuncture services since 2013. With the increased demand for mental health support which came with our collective experience of COVID-19, Eastside Clinic's service offering evolved to ensure that mental health well-being is always a consideration for it's clients.
Whilst Angela's practice encompasses assisting clients with any physical condition acute or chronic which they may present, she is also passionate in assisting those with mental health concerns. As individuals, we are a wholistic package of our emotional and physical health combined. Eastside Clinic recognises the high importance of acknowledging this.
