Philosophy & Vision
I provide psychological services for individuals experiencing psychological difficulties related to mental health issues, life or learning difficulties, substance use and or their physical health. I take a warm and respectful approach with clients as I recognize sharing ones inner world of thoughts and feelings can be difficult. The feedback I have received is my ability to provide helpful supportive treatment in a genuinely kind, caring and non-judgmental manner.
Background
I have been working as a health professional for many years initially as a registered nurse working mainly in intensive care, occupational health and mental health areas. I have had the opportunity to assess and provide interventions with people experiencing significant psychological distress which may have been the result of a mental health disorder, their health, substance use or situational crisis. I have completed a Masters in Clinical Psychology and I am working in private practice and provide psychological services for individuals experiencing psychological difficulties related to mental health issues, life or learning difficulties, substance use and or their physical health.
